Understanding The Appeals Process
After a denial, you have 60 days to file a Request for Reconsideration. If denied again, you have 60 days to request a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge. For South Jersey claimants, hearings are held in Pennsauken, NJ. Most favorable decisions happen at the hearing level — this is where cases are won. If needed, we also handle Appeals Council reviews and federal court appeals.
SSI rules are complicated. We'll make them make sense for you.
